City Polytechnic High School Work-Based Learning Program
Our partnership with City Polytechnic High School is taking flight, providing students with a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of drones. From the classroom to hands-on experience, this program is designed to be an enriching and educational journey.
Inside the STEM Bus: From Concept to Reality
Our students have rolled up their sleeves and delved into the world of drone design and construction. They are engaged in creating CAD drawings for both the interior and exterior of the Drone Cadets STEM Bus.
This practical experience allows them to explore design principles, engineering, and spatial planning.
Preparing for the Part 107 Exam
But that’s not all – our aspiring drone cadets are also preparing for their Part 107 exams. This certification is a vital step in gaining the knowledge and skills required to operate drones legally and safely. Our students are hard at work, learning the ins and outs of drone regulations and flight operations, paving the way for their successful careers in the drone industry.
Real-World Exposure to Drones on the Job
The Work-Based Learning Program is not just about theory; it’s about real-world experience.
