Drone Cadets in Houston, TX

We are excited to share our recent experience with the Drone Cadets program as we traveled to Houston, Texas to introduce elementary school students to the world of drones. Our goal is to spark interest in STEM education andexpose these young learners to the vast range of careers in drone technology.

During our visit, we had the pleasure of visiting Kennedy Elementary School and Highland Heights Elementary where we conducted assemblies and gave kids the chance to fly drones. We received a warm welcome from both schools and were thrilled to see the students’ enthusiasm and excitement for the program. Our hope is that this experience will inspire them to pursue careers in drone technology or other STEM fields.

As we continue to spread awareness of our program, we are also excited to partner with non-profit organizations to teach our curriculum and provide opportunities for students to engage with drone technology. We would like to extend a special thank you to the Boys Scouts of America (Houston) for their support and partnership.

During our time in Houston, we also had the opportunity to visit Google Wing and explore their site for drone deliveries in Dallas. This experience gave us valuable insight into the practical applications of drone technology and the potential for its use in the future.

Our final stop was at American Airlines DFW where we were given a tour of the hangar and had the opportunity to speak with their maintenance department. We are excited to partner with American Airlines to bring kids in to explore what it looks like to repair and replace parts on aircraft.

In conclusion, we are thrilled with the success of our recent trip to Houston, and we look forward to continuing our efforts to inspire and educate young learners about drone technology and its potential for future careers.

Thank you for your continued support of the Drone Cadets!
